Hathersage Parish Church Virtual Tour
Hathersage is a popular starting point for walking in the Hope Valley and many of you would pass by the St Michael and All Angels Church on Camp Green on your travels.
If you can’t go there in person at the moment, you can take a 360° tour of the church which includes fascinating information on the stained glass and memorials.

W. W. Winter open up their extensive archive to celebrate places of hidden nature that are important sites in the history and heritage of Derbyshire.

Derby Arboretum’s 180th Anniversary Festival
The 9-day online festival celebrates the 180th Anniversary of Derby’s landmark public arboretum and replaces the annual ‘Lark in the Park’ event.
The daily events will be live-streamed on YouTube and include vlogs from the members of the Friends of Derby Arboretum as well as conversations and activities.

Ethel Haythornthwaite was secretary of the Council (now Campaign) for the Protection of Rural England, Sheffield and Peak District branch.
Jean Smart’s hour long talk will be a fascinating insight into a figure who dedicated her life protecting the countryside of Sheffield and the Peak District

Restoration Remake! Crafty Discoveries Virtual Workshop
The mid 16th century saw the beginning of the Restoration period and very much like today, was altered by its own pandemic, The Plague. Something that particular significance to the Peak District with the story of Eyam.
Mrs Leach’s Antiquarian Academy will be hosting a Crafty Discoveries Virtual Workshop that focusses on society and culture during the ‘plague years’ and uses crafts to learn about the experiences and environments of these times.
