Castleton

The Roaches

An easy-going ramble around Osmaston Park and village located on the edge of the picturesque Derbyshire Dales, head south to your turning point at Shirley, and return home through farmland and old country estates.

A walk outside of the national park to the mill town of Belper. A three-mile walk on relatively flat terrain.

Ellastone and Norbury
A walk in the south of the Peak District that starts in Ellastone and circumnavigates its neighbouring village of Norbury and the nearby River Dove.

Hope Valley
A clockwise walk setting from the village of Hope, towards Win Hill. The second half of the walk is riverside, but it does follow the direction of the Derwent and the Noe on the way back.

Ashford-in-the-Water
A simple flat walk that is perfect for beginners. Head north from Ashford-in-the-Water and take a section of the Monsal Trail, heading west to east before undertaking the southbound part of your circuit.
