In the build up to Christmas, visitors to Leeds can count down the days with the world’s largest LEGO advent calendar.
Created by Duncan Titmarch, the UK’s only certified LEGO professional, the advent calendar is made with over 600,000 LEGO bricks, stands at five metres wide, three metres high and one metre deep and features 30 different coloured bricks.
Every day, one of the 24 doors will be opened to reveal a selection of individually crafted 3D LEGO surprises, including a Christmas cake, a reindeer and even a LEGO Christmas tree.
A total of 12 million people have set foot in the £350m Trinity Leeds shopping centre since it opened its doors in March. And for its first Christmas in the city, it’s set to draw in shoppers from near and far with its eclectic mix of high street favourites, quirky pop up stalls, street food and bars and restaurants set across three of Leeds city centre’s busiest shopping streets.
