As Halloween draws closer, here are five of the best pick-your-own pumpkin patches to visit in Suffolk.
1. Pumpkin Barn
Where: Cranley Green Road, Redlingfield, Eye, IP23 7NZ
Entry price: £2.50 per child and £5 per adult (under twos go free)
With a name inspired by the Dutch Barn that greets visitors as they arrive, the patch has a wide variety of pumpkins to pick and choose from.
There will also be pumpkin themed games as well as carving stations for families to get involved in.
2. Rougham Barns Pumpkin Patch
Where: The Mell Field, Sow Lane, Bury St Edmunds, IP30 9NA
Entry price: Free admission
The estate will have pumpkins, gourds and squashes to choose from as well as a separate pumpkin patch for well-behaved dogs.
There will also be two spooky Saturday evenings on October 12 and 26 where the patch will stay open until 9.30pm.
3. Akenham Hall Pumpkin Patch
Where: Henley Road, Ipswich, IP6 OHL
Entry price: Free entry
Akenham Hall will have a wide array of pumpkins to pick from as well as donkey rides, a bouncy castle and archery.
New for this year is a shop selling a range of seasonal products and gifts.
4. Undley Farm
Where: Undley Road, Beck Row, Lakenheath, IP28 8BX
Entry price: Free (tickets must be booked in advance)
There will be thousands of pumpkins to choose from as well as 36 different varieties of ornamental gourds and squashes.
Other activities include a themed Halloween maize maze, inflatables and seasonal crafts.
5. Farmer Johns Pumpkin Patch
Where: Boydland Farm, Old London Road, Capel St Mary, IP9 2JU
Entry price: Free admission
There will be a wide variety of homegrown pumpkins and squashes to pick as well as the Mega and Mini Maize Mazes to explore.
Visitors can bring picnics and other refreshments will be available to purchase.
