6. 221B, Framlingham

221B (that’s Two Twenty One B) is a charming, quirky bakery-cum-bistro that takes a very European approach to things. It’s about locally sourced ingredients, freshly prepared healthy food and the finest Italian coffee outside of Milan.

The breakfast menu is not large but what it lacks in choice it makes up for in quality and affordability. The classic ‘221B Breakfast’ features two rashers of local bacon and two local sausages with two free range eggs, baked beans and tomato all for £6. Should you be in the mood for something a bit healthier then they’ve got you covered with the ‘221B Good4Me Breakfast’ – local smoked salmon and a poached egg.
