It's not just the beach that entertains visitors to the coastal town of Minehead.

Food festival

Eat: Minehead is held a couple of times a year in Minehead, down The Avenue. It is one of the many successful eat festivals that are now held across the region and celebrates local products and producers. Organisers bring the very best West Country food and drink producers and artisans together to markets in town centres across Somerset, Devon, Dorset, South Gloucestershire and Bristol.

Blenheim Gardens

Blenheim Gardens (maintained and run by Somerset West and Taunton council) is ideally situated in the centre of Minehead and covers nearly 2.5 hectares of parkland. Created in the 1920s it is now a mature, attractive and sheltered haven, popular with residents and visitors. The park provides spring and summer bedding displays, a wide range of trees, shrubs and perennials which thrive in the mild seaside climate.
