A midwife and published author from Norwich will star in the upcoming series of The Great British Bake Off.
Illiyin Morrison, 31, has been announced as a contestant on the hit Channel 4 show.
She will compete against 11 other home bakers from across the country, with the aim to impress judges Dame Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood.

On her website, Illiyin describes herself as a "perinatal trauma specialist midwife, debrief facilitator, mother, author, podcast host and avid cook based in Norfolk".
Her book 'The Birth Debrief: Reflecting on Pregnancy, Reframing Birth, Redefining Post-Partum' was published in March 2023.

She also has more than 50,000 followers on her @mixing.up.motherhood Instagram account.
The 12 bakers will take on a series of challenges, making cakes, biscuits, breads and more, in a bid to be named Bake Off champion.
In 2016, Kate Barmby, a nurse from Brooke in Norfolk, competed on the show.
The new series of The Great British Bake Off, hosted by Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding, starts on Tuesday, September 24 at 8pm on Channel 4.
