With Jarrold Ladies Day at Fakenham Racecourse is just around the corner Rachel, Paula and Justine enjoyed getting dressed up for a day at the races.
They are showcasing some of this season’s fabulous styles and accessories - which would be just perfect to wear on Jarrold Ladies Day at Fakenham on Sunday June 4.
The day is always a heady mix of horse-racing and fabulous fashion.
It is the final race meeting of the season at Fakenham – and brings in one of the biggest and most stylish crowds of the year with thousands of guests keen to enjoy the action and atmosphere.
Rachel, Paula and Justine are all very familiar with Fakenham Racecourse and loved the chance to dress up and pose for the camera ahead of preparing for a very busy day at work on Ladies Day.
Rachel runs the owners’ and trainers’ bar at Fakenham Racecourse on a race day – ensuring that these very important customers are well looked after. She is also a personal trainer and married to racecourse chief executive David Hunter.
She was joined on the fashion shot by Justine Ward, a professional event rider and horse and rider trainer, who also helps Rachel run the owners’ and trainers’ bar on race days.
“I loved the photo shoot day,” said Justine. “It was a real treat to get dressed up and make-up done as I’m always in riding clothes and hardly ever wear make-up and I’m normally covered in mud with hay in my hair!”
Our third model was Paula McEwen of PT Events, the catering partners for Fakenham Racecourse. She and her husband, Tristram also run The Crown Inn at East Rudham.
Paula coordinates all the catering for race day and other functions at the racecourse. She works front-of- house on race days – after a busy lead-up to each big event liaising with the chef about menus and with guests who have booked hospitality boxes to ensure their food and drink requirements are met throughout the day.
The three fashion shoot models are all showing off outfits from Jarrold.
The fabulous looks were put together by the store’s expert team – and they are on hand to help you look your best, whatever the occasion.
These winning styles would look great at a wedding, garden party, social soiree or fancy day out.
Anyone interested in some help with shopping for a special occasion, or some general personal styling advice, can book a personal styling session with the Jarrold team. And the men are not left out. Working alongside ladies’ personal stylists Florrie and Katy is menswear manager and men’s stylist Tim.
They will be at Jarrold Ladies Day at Fakenham Racecourse on June 4, looking out for contenders in the traditional best-dressed competitions.
Categories will include best dressed person, best dressed couple and best hat and the Jarrold style team will be hunting through the crowds to find the most stylish guests and inviting them to take part in the competitions on the Chairman’s Lawn at the racecourse.
So, whether you like to get ahead of the trends, have a soft spot for vintage styling, or are known for your signature panache, this could be your chance to make a stylish impact and have a lot of fun on race day too.
