The Cobblers
A café, bar and bistro, with weekly entertainment, situated on the High Street. Evening menu dishes include grilled fillet of seabass, served with new potatoes, charred tenderstem with garlic and herb emulsion and pie of the day served with chips, gravy and peas.
Nonna Carla
Serving authentic Italian food, Nonna Carla is home to a wood-fired pizza oven. As head chef Vincenzo is a native of the Como area, the menu reflects many of the dishes from that region. As well as pizzas, it also offers dishes such as fegatini di pollo and risotto asparagi e pesto.
Pipers
Located in an 18th century building in the heart of the town, Pipers is owned and run by award-winning chef, Ian Piper. Serving bistro lunches, Sunday lunch and an a la carte menu in the evening, the menu reflects modern British cuisine. It features dishes such as honey glazed bacon joint and lemon verbena gravadlax.
Sally’s Deli
A very pretty, independently-owned coffee shop. It has both indoor and outdoor seating and is dog friendly. All cakes and patisseries are home-made and lunches include quiches served with a delightful deli salad, as well as homemade soup, served with sourdough.
Garstang Deli Café
A traditional café, opposite the Market Cross. Its pies, savoury and fruit, are well known and its full English breakfast is always a favourite. For lighter appetites, pea and ham soup, served with chunky bread or a selection of toasties are a good choice. there is also a delicious selection of cakes.
