Fizz flowed and fabulous prizes were won at the Rossendale Hospice ladies’ Christmas lunch, held at Nino’s in Rawtenstall.
The annual event, which raised £16,000 for the hospice, was attended by 188 ladies who enjoyed a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and entertainment from Dax on Sax. Hosted by Full Irish Manchester radio DJ, Joe Casserly, guests at the lunch also took part in a mannequin challenge.
Sam Morris, community fundraising manager, said: ‘We are delighted that the event raised an overwhelming £16,000, which is a reflection of all the hard work and efforts the special events committee give to the Hospice, we are lucky to have them. I would also like to thank all the ladies who attended for their generosity.’
