2. Adventures in Time Travel – daily July 24 to September 3
Take part in a series of hands-on activities and challenges as part of Adventures in Time Travel this summer at Hever Castle.
3. Falconry displays – selected days in July and August
Be entertained by the twice daily falconry displays from Willow’s Bird of Prey Centre.
4. Supercar weekend – August 3 to 4
Experience a whole host of stunning cars with their own individual stories on display in the gardens with the castle as a stunning backdrop. Organised by Challenge the Road.
5. Hever in History – August 24 to 26
Immerse yourselves in living history encampments from the Middle Ages to the 20th century.
6. The Boleyn apartment - now open (castle ticket required)
Visit the recently unveiled refurbished Boleyn apartment at Hever Castle. The only surviving suite of rooms lived in by the Boleyn family and incredibly they’re largely structurally unaltered.
7. Water maze – daily (weather dependent)
Do you have what it takes to get to the middle without getting wet? This is a maze with a difference.
8. Play areas – daily
Kids rule in Tudor Towers, a 9m tall wooden play castle complete with its own moat, drawbridge, three towers to climb and two fireman’s poles to escape via, children will love discovering what’s around each turn. Younger visitors can explore the natural play area including sandpit, willow tunnel and slide.
9. Yew maze – daily (weather dependent)
Enjoy the challenge of finding your way through the 100-year-old yew maze.
10. Gardens
Take in the sights and scents of 5,000 roses in the stunning rose garden. Weave along the pathways of Faith’s garden with its riot of colour. Marvel at the Pompeiian wall and classical statuary in the Italian garden. Take in the views at the loggia, overlooking the 38-acre lake, before exploring the many cascades, grottoes.
