Music at the Multiverse 2024 at Crawick Multiverse

The spectacular, otherworldly Multiverse, transformed from an opencast coal mine – and which was described as “the maddest and most beautiful festival site in the world” by Roy Stride of last year’s headliners Scouting for Girls - is gearing up for record-breaking numbers at its two-day music extravaganza, which has three performance areas and a new family zone.

This year’s line-up includes The Hoosiers, Toploader, Tide Lines, Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5 and some of Dumfries & Galloway’s finest acts - The Lucky Doves, The Lutras, EBB, Elias T Hoth, Kissing the Flint, The Mocking Byrds, Tiderays and The Cherry Pinks - on the Main Stage.

In the Big Top Dance Tent there will be Public Domain, Flip N Fill, Technotronic Ft Eric Martin, Michael Smith, Malcolm X, We Love Old Skool, Stevie Lennon, Brett Lawrie, Steven Allan, Stephen Holland, Blair Crawford, Nicky Nally, Jamie Benson and Paul Cooper.

And, new for 2024, in a new partnership with the Up Yer Airts, will be the Cosmic Lounge performance space, featuring local talent including Dopesickfly, Zoe Bestel, Ella Campbell, Alexander and the Greeks, Kate Kyle and Palliro, and an artist showcase for new young performers.

Organisers, who are expecting a bumper crowd, have invested in an expanded food and drink village and a new family zone.

Council Gail Macgregor, leader of Dumfries & Galloway Council said: “Music at the Multiverse offers music fans the chance to relax, unwind and enjoy great bands at affordable prices. It’s one of Scotland’s best up and coming music festivals and is supported by Dumfries and Galloway’s Events Strategy 2023-2027.
