In celebration of Independent Bookshop Week (June 24 - July 1) The Bookshop on South Street in Bridport will be hosting several events for children, families and teens throughout the week.

The Bookshop in Bridport is welcoming any and all for their activity-filled week of events. Ranging from battles of wits at a family game day, opportunities for creativity at a teen poetry workshop, and a chance to make new friends at a storytime session for little ones - this week is a celebration for every bookworm.

Independent Bookshop Week is part of the Books Are My Bag campaign (with this year’s bespoke design by Orla Kiely), which seeks to celebrate independent bookshops in the UK and Ireland in conjunction with the IndieBound campaign that promotes the benefits that a healthy and diverse high street - with a bookshop at its heart of course! - can deliver to a community.
