SOUTHS SANDS AND NORTH SANDS
South Sands in Salcombe is one of the most unspoilt beaches in South Devon. The sheltered, sandy shores make it ideal for sea swimming and all sorts of water sports from kayaks, canoes, dinghy sailing, scuba diving and snorkelling. Hire facilities are available in The Old Lifeboat House. North Sands is just a short walk from the town centre. From here, you can take in the panoramic views across the estuary.
HARBOUR WATCHING
Salcombe Harbour reaches from the sea, all the way up to Kingsbridge. Its peaceful surroundings are enjoyed by a number of water users all year round. In fact, hundreds of boats criss-cross through this way during the summer months. Hire a boat and join them. Locals say you can only really appreciate the beauty of Salcombe by looking back at it from the water.
OVERBECK'S
