After exploring the countryside surrounding the River Taw – keep an eye out for otters, salmon, woodpeckers and owls – you can retire back to your elevated escape to cook a dinner which could be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the fishing lake.

As night draws in you can relax in the copper bath, enjoy a night cap in the meticulously-appointed lounge before heading to your king size bedroom.
