Behind its magnificent facade, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, evoking all the comforts of a gracious country home - as indeed it is.

The Hull-Bailey family have lived in and managed Cressbrook Hall for nearly 40 years. Bobby Hull-Bailey, her daughter Harriet and granddaughter Emily have been lovingly restoring its grandeur so that other people can share in its beauty and majestic charm.

As Cressbrook Hall is a family run business, this means that giving customers a fantastic and friendly service is priority for us.

On selected dates, we offer Sunday Lunches in our bright and sunny Orangery using locally sourced produce. We also offer light lunches and afternoon tea’s during the summer which guests can enjoy in our Conservatory, Orangery or in the formal gardens. At Cressbrook Hall we can cater for any special event where you would have exclusive use of all of our function rooms. We can provide buffets or more formal menus to suit your needs, including any dietary requirements.

Please see our website for upcoming Sunday Lunch dates and telephone us to enquire about light lunches, afternoon tea’s or special events.
