According to the EST (Energy Saving Trust) up to 40% of heat is lost through draughty doors and windows which drives your heating bills up! CoisDor™ is the revolutionary solution to keeping heat in and driving down costs this winter.

Managing Director of The Track House Ltd, Alasdair Elliott says: “Many clients have asked us for a solution to their door draught issues. We are based near the Cotswolds and there are a lot of properties with unusual doorways which traditional portiere rods do not fit. The CosiDor has been designed to accommodate almost all doors (including glass!) to provide both a functional and stylish solution.”

This patented and completely unique system uses a portiere rod that is designed to fit most doors and effectively keep out draughts. The sturdy iron pole sits on the door frame and allows a curtain to lift and move WITH the door as it opens and closes. As the door opens, CosiDoor raises the curtain up, allowing free movement. As the door closes, CosiDoor returns to its original position to minimise cold draughts.

Fitting Cosidor:

Assembling the Cosidor rods:

During summer, when the curtain may not be needed, CosiDor can easily be fully retracted and positioned to one side.

Jane from Shipston-on-Stour says, “I purchased CosiDor last winter and it’s absolutely brilliant. It’s a simple idea that really works to keep out draughts. It’s so much better than just hanging a curtain which can get in the way of accessing the door, especially if it’s very heavy fabric. CosiDor lifts out of the way WITH my door as it opens – I love it.”

CosiDor can be adjusted to fit most doors, even recessed one. As there is no central attachment, it can be easily fitted to glass doors providing increased security and privacy. The rise height of the curtain is changeable and the strong fittings are capable of hanging interlined heavyweight curtains.
