Three Cornwall establishments have been named among the top 100 gastropubs in the UK for 2024 according to the annual list from Estrella Damm.
The Mariners in Rock, The Gurnard’s Head in St Ives and The Rising Sun in Truro were the county's representatives.
The website explains that votes are collected “from more than 100 industry professionals who are key people in the hospitality industry.”
It adds: “Our judges come from leading pub businesses, editors of media brands and food writers who are geographically spread across the UK to ensure no regional bias.”

What did Estrella Damm say about the Cornwall gastropubs?
The Mariners in Rock was the highest-ranked Cornwall gastropub on the list, achieving an impressive position in 3rd.
Describing the establishment, Estrella Damm said: "Celebrity chef Paul Ainsworth’s the Mariners in Rock, Cornwall, is a must-visit gastropub for staycationers and international tourists alike."
Dishes that diners can sample include Philip Warren & Son 40-day aged 800g rib of beef (for two), the Dogs Pollock crisp pollock hotdog and handcrafted pies.
It adds: "The pub has a simple motto which, in short, is to provide guests with warm and happy memories, driven by food that puts a smile on your face alongside drinks that put a spring in your step.
"In the kitchen, head chef Joe Rozier is responsible for the brigade of chefs who consistently produce dishes to a high standard throughout service."
It has also been well-received by diners, with it earning a 4.5/5 score on Tripadvisor from 1,033 reviews.
Next up is The Gunard's Head in St Ives which placed in 61st position on the list and is described as hoping to give its guests a "sense of tranquillity".
It adds: "Seafood reigns supreme on the pub’s supper menu, with locally sourced dishes such as St. Austell Bay mussels, white wine, garlic, parsley, as well as mackerel, smoked tomato ketchup, fennel salad.
"Diners seeking to enjoy a taste of the coast could also try a Crab, tomato & basil salad with sourdough."

Finally, there is The Rising Sun in Truro, appearing for the first time on the Estrella Damm list, in 97th position.
They write: "Tom Hannon, who is chef patron, has a love of food culture and with the abundance of stunning produce in Cornwall he showcases the best quality, seasonal and responsibly sourced ingredients in his creative menus.
"But The Rising Sun is still a pub and everyone is welcome to pop in for a drink. As well as beers there are sophisticated wine and spirits list.
"The pub also runs a Secret Cellar list comprising of a limited collection of Tom and Katie’s [Hannon] favourite wines of the moment."
