A Cornwall pub has been ranked as having one of the best riverside beer gardens in the UK.
The Pandora Inn on the Restronguet Creek, which isn't too far from Falmouth, has been included among eight pubs listed by The Times for its wonderful setting to enjoy a pint or two.
Speaking about the pub, The Times wrote: "Thatched and whitewashed, this is the quintessential Cornish pub — and it has a wonderful setting beside Restronguet Creek, a tributary of the River Fal and a yachtie’s favourite.
"Parts of the pub date from the 13th century, and it’s the kind of place you can imagine Ross Poldark pitching up for a pint.
"Inside it’s all old beams, low ceilings, maritime memorabilia and ships in glass cabinets; outside the “garden” is in fact a big riverside pontoon.
"The waterfront Greenbank Hotel is a Falmouth landmark, with river-facing rooms."
