North Berwick has been named among the best in the UK in a new list revealed to the public.
The seaside town is known for its lovely beaches, charming town centre and events such as Fringe By the Sea that help bring it to life.
With spring bringing warmer and longer days, finding some of the country's nicest towns for a quick staycation is a must.
The town gained the honour in The Telegraph's list of the 20 best and worst seaside towns in the UK.

North Berwick ranked as one of the best seaside towns in the UK
North Berwick was ranked one of the best in the country by the newspaper with it scoring an 80 out of a possible 100.
The publication gave the East Lothian town the score after looking at a number of metrics
It said: "We chose a score of classic resorts and studied how they have adapted – or not – over the past three decades, looking at factors such as housing and high streets, renovations and conservation, as well as the cultural clout that so often accompanies gentrification."
This comes as other seaside towns like St Ives in Cornwall earned the top spot at 98/100.
