QUIZ - Can you tell the difference between the South Downs and the High Weald?

These two areas will be familiar to many people, but how well do you know them?

The South Downs National Park is England’s newest national park, having become fully operational almost a decade ago.

The majority of the national park was formed by the amalgamation of the East Hampshire AONB and the Sussex Downs AONB, which created an area that covered over 600 square miles, stretching from Winchester in Hampshire to Eastbourne in East Sussex.

The High Weald AONB is slightly further north, going from Horsham in West Sussex to east of Rye in East Sussex, it takes in small sections of Surrey and Kent and covers over 500 square miles.

Both locations are hugely popular destinations for locals and tourists, with many of the landmarks and settlements representing the iconic images of the Sussex region.
