Sea, Army and Air Cadets from across Gloucestershire paraded at Highnam Court, Gloucester, to celebrate the 150th birthday of the Cadet movement.

Sea, Army and Air Cadets from across Gloucestershire paraded at Highnam Court, Gloucester, to celebrate the 150th birthday of the Cadet movement. Watched by family and friends, hundreds of cadets marched, demonstrated their skills and competed at the anniversary event in front of the Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire Sir Henry Elwes, together with civic and military dignitaries. The parade was led by Colonel Lance Ranson TD, Commandant of the Gloucestershire Army Cadet Force. The Sea Cadets performed a cutlass display, the Corps of Drums from the Army Cadets gave a performance and the Air Cadets gave a display of silent drill and their gliders did a fly past over the event.
