This August 12th, the Nike factory store at McArthurGlen’s Cheshire Oaks will be encouraging locals to get active by entering The Nike Running Challenge.

The Nike Running Challenge is a one day running experience taking place in five cities across Western Europe including Madrid, Fidenza, Rosada, Ashford and Cheshire Oaks. Distances include 2.5K, 5K or 10K, to suit all ages and ability levels.

One of the world's best-loved sports brands, Nike is known as much for its style as its high-quality sports equipment. A truly global brand today, Nike brings quality to professionals and amateurs alike, whether you are going for gold or just running at the local running club.

Regional prizes will be available for the winning male and female participants per running category. At the end of the day the fastest runners of each category will be determined and registered in the ranking of the “Fastest Runners” of the Nike Running Challenge.

Besides winning the title of fastest runner in the Nike Running Challenge, the female and male winners will receive Nike vouchers to the value of 50, which can be redeemed right away in McArthurGlen’s Cheshire Oaks Nike factory store, as well as a 50 voucher for the centre. And, there are no losers at the Nike Running Challenge as every participant receives an official Nike Running Challenge Medal. The runs start at 10:00 and end at 14:30.

Helen Williams, Marketing Executive at McArthurGlen’s Cheshire Oaks, says, “With the British summer dominated by sports we’re thrilled to be hosting the Nike Running Challenge and getting active with our local community. We’re expecting participants from Cheshire, Manchester and Liverpool to take part.”

The event will take place on the West Cheshire Athletic Club track, located behind the outlet.

McArthurGlen’s Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet offers shoppers over 145 leading designer and high street brands at up to 60 per cent less.
