Brent House in Brent Knoll is well-known for its carvery roasts. Now, during lockdown, it is offering takeaway roasts, desserts and drinks Thursday to Sunday. See the restaurant’s Facebook page for the opening times for the week.

You can pick up your festive roasts from Tiffins Cafe at Bullock Farm in Kingston Seymour seven days a week until December 23. Try the likes of traditonal turkey or beef brisket and topside, with the option for two or three courses.

The Ginger Pig Kitchen

The Ginger Pig Kitchen in Weston-super-Mare is offering takeaway roasts alonsgide its Tapas Fridays. It is currently offering the choice of two meats and a vegetarian choice along with all the trimmings, inlcuding cauliflower cheese.

Newton Fam

Newton Farm near Bath has been adapting to the latest lockdown with takeaways available all week and roasts on Sundays. Why not try the homemade pigs in blankets on the side? Order via the app or you can order your takeaway in person at the cafe and wait at the collection point for your order to be prepared.

The White Horse

The White Horse in Haselbury Plucknett has the ultimate offering for a Sunday roast - the sharing platter; dry aged rump of beef, slow roast pork belly, breast of free range chicken, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, savoy cabbage, carrots, swede and gravy.

Claire’s Kitchen

Claire Lynch, of Claire’s Kitchen, is well-known in Exmoor and beyond for her great cooking. She has cooked for celebrities and millionaires. She caters in homes, on trains, for weddings and other events and most recently set up a range of frozen meals for delivery or pick up from her catering trailer, which sells out wherever it goes in the Minehead area. On Sundays she and her team offers roast dinners for delivery in the local area.

The Woolpack

The Woolpack Inn, in St Georges, near Weston-super-Mare, has always been highly regarded for its carvery. It has quickly adapted to meet the public’s needs during both lockdowns and customers can now order a takeaway online for collection.

The Black Swan

The Black Swan in Langport is getting rave reviews for its takeaway roasts and sells out half way though the week for the following weekend - so you’d better be quick. Check out its Facebook page for the latest on how to order.
