Yorkshire restaurants have pulled out the stops to bring offer foodies some bargain bites following on from Eat Out to Help Out. Here’s our pick:

The Cleveland Tontine in North Yorkshire is continuing the ‘Eat Out To Help Out’ offer on Wednesdays throughout September. The discount will follow the terms and conditions of the original government offer of food and non-alcoholic drinks, with a maximum discount per person of £10.

The Tontine is part of the Provenance Inns Group which will continue with the eat-out offer in September, including, West Park Hotel, Harrogate, The Black Bull, Moulton, The Carpenters Arms, Felixkirk, The Oak Tree, Helperby

Fancy a pizza? Wildwood is continuing the eat out deal Monday- Wednesdays at its restaurants in York and Skipton. 50pc off meals Monday-Wednesday.

True North Brew Co, which runs 12 venues across Yorkshire, will keep offering the discount until 30 September

Argentinian steakhouse Gaucho in Leeds will continue the offer on its a la carte menu until the end of September.

Harrogate’s new Fashion House Bistro is offering 25% off your food bill after 17.30 on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mackenzies Farm Shop is continuing the offer Monday to Thursday in September with 50% off your food bill only, up to the value of £10 per customer. You need to book in advance for discount to be applied.

Mamma Mia in Gillygate York, is offering £5 discount per person off the whole bill on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings, 5pm to 9.30pm and for lunchtime on Friday and Saturday, 12 noon to 2pm, and Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings, 5pm to 9.30pm.

A number of North Yorkshire eateries are taking part in Teesside Restaurant Week from September 28 to October 2 offering which offers three-course menus for £15 per person.

They include:

Bistro: The Coach House at Middleton Lodge, Muse, Yarm, The Bay Horse, Hurworth, The Crathorne Arms, Crathorne Village, The Leven, Stokesley

Italian: Cena, Yarm, Il Mulino, Stokesley
