Sunday lunch is served from 12pm to 2.30pm from the set Sunday lunch menu, two courses £24.95 and three courses £27.95. Sunday lunches are cooked with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and are served with all the usual trimmings.

Shambles Bistro is a warm and stylish 16th century building. Winner in the Norfolk Food and Drink Awards, our Sunday lunches are a very popular affair. Freshly made in our kitchen from local ingredients they are a showcase for seasonal Norfolk food at its best. Tender Norfolk Sirloin, Guniea fowl, local Fish of the day, Shambles-made Nut roast and weekly specials all served with crisply roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and a selection of seasonal vegetables topped off with our homemade beef stock gravy. We serve delicious vegan and GF roasts and we have a children's Sunday lunch menu. We do a great selection of puddings such as homemade treacle tart served with clotted cream.Well behaved dogs are welcome. You can eat in our elegant upstairs Georgian drawing room, downstairs at our large, comfortable pine tables, in our bright conservatory or outside in our sheltered courtyard garden.

"Here at The Crown in Great Ellingham we have been providing fresh and hopefully popular food for the last 5 years. We have a constantly changing menu, a well-chosen wine list, plenty of real ale and (being always optimistic) a large car park!

Sunday Lunch is proving very popular and we always offer 3 different roasts and our delicious nut roast as well as other dishes from the regular menu that include a fresh fish and other vegetarian options. The 2 Course lunch is £18.50 and the 3 course is £22.50 and we are finding customers to be very happy with the quality and the generous portions.

Booking is advisable and we serve food on Sunday from Midday until 7pm. I think I can safely say that we are well known for our atmosphere, friendly staff and good quality food but do please come and give us a go and see for yourselves."
